No pets are allowed. Ramp pavement is EXTREMELY HOT and may exceed 125 degrees. The tarmac will burn paws and skin. Don’t “abuse” your pet. Please leave your pets at home for their safety, not in a HOT car.
An unattended bike corral is available for cyclists.
Remember to bring a lock to lock your bike.
The 2020 Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Salutes Colonel Clarence “Bud” Anderson the last living World War II Triple Ace Fighter Pilot in the World!
For several years, Colonel Anderson has shared his stories with the Truckee Tahoe community by being the featured speaker at our Air Show & Family Festival, and we are honored to have him return this year on July 11, 2020. Click here for more information about his July 11 presentation.

The Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival is proudly known as one of the region’s most family-friendly events with free parking and free admission.
Come experience a breathtaking and world-class air show with world-renowned aerobatic performers! Visit the STEM Expo, the Family Festival, rides for a cost in military aircraft, free rides for kids on Sunday, July 12 by the EAA Young Eagle’s pilot volunteers, static displays, vendors, a VIP Hospitality Tent, free Speaker Presentation, and much more!
All proceeds from sponsorships, vendor booth fees, VIP Hospitality Tent ticket sales, and much more, go directly to Truckee North Tahoe youth organizations.
The Air Show is generously funded and presented by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District.

And that’s the truth! The Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board and Air Show Committee are dedicated to making this a local's family-friendly event with free admission and free parking.
PLEASE NOTE: Once in the Air Show & Family Festival, there will be some fees (i.e. military aircraft rides, face painting, food, VIP Hospitality Tent entry. )
Family-friendly festivities include a designated Family Festival on the green with live music, stilt walkers, arts and crafts, puppet shows, and much more! The Suddenlink by Altice STEM Expo offers hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
And, on Sunday, July 12, children ages 8 – 17 can fly for free by one of numerous pilot volunteers with the EAA Local Chapter 1073 Young Eagles program.

VIP HOSPITALITY TENT
Looking for that special VIP experience? Well, you’ll find it in the VIP Hospitality Tent. A VIP Ticket offers guests a first-class seat on the flight line...the best view at the show! Ticket-holder perks include a catered lunch, beverages (including beer and wine), mingling with performers, VIP-only restrooms, and LOTS of shade! Now THAT’S a first-class ticket!
Tickets can be purchased online or at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. Cost is $90 in advance. $110 at the door. Child – (12 and under) - $30 in advance. $50 at the door.
