ABOUT THE TRUCKEE TAHOE AIR SHOW

And its dedication to building the future of aviation

Prior to 2026, the Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival were proudly known as one of the region’s most family-friendly events with free parking and free admission.

Participants were able to experience a breathtaking and world-class air show with world-renowned aerobatic performers! Visit the Grocery Outlet STEM Expo, the Family Festival, static displays, vendors, a VIP Hospitality Tent, free Speaker Presentation, and much more!

The Air Show was generously funded and presented by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District.

The Truckee Tahoe Air Show is a PROUD recipient of the

2018 ICAS Pinnacle Gold Award for Excellence in Emergency Response!

Airshow History:

It was FAMILY FUN FOR ALL!

And that’s the truth! The Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board and Air Show Committee was dedicated to making this a local's family-friendly event with free admission and free parking.

Family-friendly festivities included a designated Family Festival on the green with live music, stilt walkers, arts and crafts, puppet shows, and much more! The Truckee Grocery Outlet STEM Expo offers hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

The airshow included a special VIP experience including the Truckee Tahoe Air Show’s VIP Hospitality Tent.  A VIP Hospitality Tent Ticket offered guests a first-class seat on the flight line...the best view at the show! Ticket-holder perks included a catered lunch, beverages including beer and wine, mingling with performers, VIP-only restrooms, and LOTS of shade!  Now THAT was a first-class ticket.
